Quotes from Movies About Women
On the way to writing the 500-plus reviews in Movies About Women, co-authors Susan Winlaw and Alexander Law heard a lot of great quotes from the movies’ stars.

2. “Gerry, I’m a woman. We don’t say what we want, but we reserve the right to be pissed off if we don’t get it. That’s what makes us so fascinating, and not a little bit scary.” Jeanne Tripplehorn to Gwyneth Paltrow’s boyfriend in Sliding Doors.
3. “Suddenly I saw her in frosted lipstick wearing a Dairy Queen uniform.” Diane Keaton explains why she didn’t give her young niece up for adoption to a country couple, in Baby Boom.

14. “I don’t act this way to change the world. I act this way so that the world won’t change me.” Patricia Charbonneau in Desert Hearts.
